Joel Pierce is the administrator of Christ's College at the University of Aberdeen and an associate tutor at the Scottish Episcopal Institute. He completed his PhD in Divinity at the University of Aberdeen within the interdisciplinary Centre for Citizenship, Society, and the Rule of Law (CISRUL). His work focuses on the intersection of politics, political theory, ethics, and theology with particular interests in the philosophy of Alasdair MacIntyre and, more recently, Hannah Arendt. He has recently published his first book, Rights, Virtue, and Others in MacIntyre.
