Mehmet Ciftci has a PhD in political theology from the University of Oxford. His research focuses on bioethics and on the interaction of religious faith with political commitments. He is the Public Bioethics Fellow for the Anscombe Centre, and has published a book with Palgrave Macmillan on Vatican II's teachings about church-state relations.
