Nigel Crook is Professor of AI and Robotics, and Director of the Institute for Ethical AI at Oxford Brookes University. He is the author of Rise of the Moral Machine: Exploring Virtue Through a Robot's Eyes.
His research interests include Ethical Artificial Intelligence, autonomous moral machines, biologically inspired machine learning, embodied conversational agents and social robotics. He is also working on other aspects of ethical AI, including developing systems that can explain the decision of trained machine learning models and automatic personality typing.
