Paula Duncan is a PhD candidate at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. She is studying faith and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, using autoethnography to draw on her own experiences of living with OCD. While her current work focuses largely on mental health, she is also interested in history (particularly medieval mystics), feminist theology, and theology in popular culture. At Aberdeen, she is involved with the Sophia Network - a supportive and empowering space for women in the field.
Paula is also a supporter of OCD-UK and has spoken at their online conferences on the subject of studying with OCD (available on their website) and is keen to share her experience in the hopes that it helps others navigate OCD, and dispel the misconceptions about the condition.
