Robert Kolb, professor of systematic theology emeritus at Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis USA, since 1993 served as president of the fourteenth International Congress of Luther Research in 2022 after membership in the Congress continuation committee since 1993. He is with Timothy J. Wengert the co-editor of the English translation of The Book of Concord, the Confessions of the Evangelical Lutheran Church (Minneapolis: Fortress, 2000), and with Irene Dingel and L’ubomír Batka the co-editor of The Oxford Handbook of Martin Luther’s Theology (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2014).
