Ross leads the Christian social policy charity CARE (Chrisitan action Research and Education) that has worked with politicians in Westminster and across the UK for over 40 years.
His career has taken him from working in a fish and chip shop to the Houses of Parliament via a think-tank at the LSE, Local Government, two national children's charities, a Trade Union, and the Office of the Children's Commissioner for England. In 2005 he was the Labour Party Parliamentary candidate for a constituency in South West Wales near to where he grew up.
In each role he has been an advocate for vulnerable groups and upholding standards in public life. Alongside his work he regularly speaks and writes about the intersection of work and faith having co-developed a programme at All souls Langham Place to help young adults explore how their career calling is integral to their spiritual formation.
