Tom Rippon is a volunteer with the Centre for Cultural Witness and is studying English and French at the University of St Andrews. He is interested in Franco-English literary exchange, particularly in Older Scots literature, although he maintains an interest in all instances of cultural transmission between the anglophone and francophone worlds, including the Prix de l'Entente littéraire. He is also researching the historical fiction of Gustave Flaubert and attended the award of the Prix Goncourt 2022.
