Give to GodPod

GodPod is one of the UK's longest-lasting and popular theological podcasts and is made possible by the generosity of friends and listeners like you. Your support helps more people access theology in a light-hearted and accessible format.

The GodPod Story

GodPod began over 25 years ago, hosted by St Paul's Theological Centre and then St Mellitus College, and has since grown to become one of the world’s longest and best-loved theology podcasts. Featuring friends and hosts Graham Tomlin, Jane Williams and Mike Lloyd, GodPod started with the simple aim of discussing the burning issues of God, theology and life in a way that is accessible to those who are not specialists in academic theology.

The world of podcasts has developed a great deal since GodPod began. There is a huge appetite for podcasts today, and alongside hugely popular podcasts on topics such as politics, history, psychology and science, we believe there is room for GodPod to improve its offer and reach more and more people who are searching for thoughtful, respectful and enjoyable conversation on Christian theology and the riches it has to offer modern life. There is untapped potential for GodPod and we are excited to be re-launching it in 2024 as a partnership between Seen and Unseen and St Mellitus College, with a renewed focus on the wisdom of the past and its applicability to our contemporary culture.

“I love this podcast!! Who knew that theology could be so accessible? Listening to this it is like having a cup of tea with three really interesting people who know a lot and are keen to share it but have some fun at the same time - not an anorak or a shouty preacher in sight!”

“I listen to a lot of podcasts and this is one of the best! Lovely people, great discussions. Thank you Graham, Mike, and Jane!”
